Dr. Javed Siddiqi is a native of Ottawa, Canada, and has spent his entire neurosurgical career in the Inland Empire of Southern California. He enrolled at age sixteen at the University of Western Ontario (UWO), where he majored in Neurophysiology.

Then, he moved to Oxford University upon being named a Rhodes Scholar. While at Oxford, Siddiqi earned his first Doctorate ("DPhil") at Christ Church College in "International Relations". Subsequently, Siddiqi joined the University of Western Ontario School of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and continuing his neurosurgery residency. Dr. Siddiqi was recruited to the Inland Empire of Southern California in 1996 to join ARMC. Since then, he has served the I.E. and SoCal community with his parents' creed: "Service is the highest form of worship."

During his tenure at ARMC, Dr. Siddiqi built the region's most robust and comprehensive team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neurointensivists, and neurointerventionalists. He is a Professor and founding Chair of the Surgery & Neurosurgery Department at CUSM. Dr. Siddiqi has been a part of CANS since 2004, and he regards his role as the 50th Anniversary President as the pinnacle of his professional career. Beyond his achievements in neurosurgery, he takes great pride in mentoring aspiring neurosurgeons. He cherishes his role as a dedicated family man, sharing his life with a wonderful wife and two children, aged eleven and sixteen.
