Situated in California’s Inland Empire, CUSM is committed to contributing solutions to the health inequities and disparities prevalent in our local communities. CUSM welcomes students from all over, prioritizing applicants from the Inland Empire region who are committed to serving our local communities.

If you are interested in joining us in our mission, there are a variety of ways to support CUSM students, the university, and special programs designed to let young, local students know that a pathway to a career in healthcare is available.

CUSM receives over 5,000 applications for the 130 seats available in the MD program but gives special preference to those from the Inland Empire region, especially applicants who are the first generation in their family to attend college and from low socioeconomic status.
